This is as far as I got this fine day. Here is a look at the new Varick Frieght where it will occupy a little Atlantic and Southern RR real estate.

That looks wonderful Tom and it hasn't even been finished or 'planted' yet.  Two thumbs up (Yes, I still have two thumbs.  I wasn't playing with fireworks last night.  ;) ).

I mentioned early in the thread I'd cover why I had a wide trim board at the top of the structure. I also said I would explain. Well, now I will.

I found some old and I mean old, Grant Line Products corbels. I wanted to use them at the top of this structure. The corbels are HO scale and are the double "S" 26 scale inches high. I cut a few off the sprue and place them on the scribed siding.

You can see they are to long for three boards so I cut the piece at the four board line.

I reversed the board (scribed siding against the wall) and glued the top trim boards in place.

Continued in a few.

Here are three views of the structure with the corbels added.

I forgot to mention I added a board at the top as well. I painted the parapet walls the same Floquil GN Gray Green.

I glued some very fine grit sand paper to the roof cardboard. I'll paint the roof tomorrow if it doesn't rain.
