The road will cross the track in several locations. Just to the north of the Craker Boy Citrus turnout, the road will curve and cross the track.

Great modeling, it's really coming together. I'm looking forward to seeing the St. John's river when poured.

As long as you do not do "Mosquito Lagoon"

I remember once using a scale plan from MRR which I converted into a low relief fertilizer factory.  In my usual fashion I photocopied the plan elevations and made a cardboard mock-up to set in my scene.  The building was absolutely dwarfed by everything around it (Heljan brewery, Magnuson etc - all kit-bashes) even though it was true to prototype scale.  I ended up blowing the plan up by a full 25% to make it work!  Its now one of my favourite scenes on the layout.  So... I well understand your hour of moving things around - I'm sure I would have taken three!

Cheers, Mark.

The Citrus structures are amazing. They are going to be a great addition. Moreover, I tracked back the building thread Erieman did and am enjoying learning from it. It's already got me thinking of lighting my current project.

Great job to the both of you.

Really looking great Tom!! If there were ever structures worthy of spotlighting- those from Frank and Bob would be the ones.

Curt,

Thank you for continually following along on this adventure. I'm not sure I'll pour the St. John's River or just paint the bottom and add a few coats of Mod Podge. A decision for later. :-\ :-\

Jim,

My Mosquito Lagoon is the Suwannee River Lagoon. It has plenty of "MACIDOS"!

Mark,

I spend a lot of time placing structures in an area and then leaving them in that location for a few days/week. If after a time it doesn't look right, it gets removed.

The two citrus building were going to be placed on the south side of the river area. However, they just didn't seem to fit there and looked more out of place.

This part of building a layout is fun and frustrating all in one.

Jim,

Thank you for the compliment. Frank did an outstanding job on the two citrus buildings and I'm very thankful to have them on the layout. I plan on adding more LEDs to the two structures.

John,

Thank you, much appreciate the support. I agree, two Master builders and I have their structures on the Atlantic and Southern RR.
