Thanks for stopping by. Although I can't take credit for the station build, I can say I did the scenery.

I started the new year off with weathering concrete pads. These are the pads for the pest control, auto shop and Sokols.

First I rescribed the expansion joints.



I used an awl to add some cracks.

I then applied a thin coat of Hunterline Light Gray and let dry.



I used a #2 dry brushing brush to add some pastel chalk to a few cracks.

This is a better shot of the dry brush. PostalKarl told me about these. I got them from Micro Mark.



I then used a soft bristle brush to blend the pastel over the cracks.

I then used a clean paper towel with clean alcohol and wiped from top to bottom. This blended the burnt sienna pastel chalk into the concrete color.

I tried a different technique on the Sokols  concrete pad. I used a Pan Pastel sponge and rubbed on some medium gray chalk. I then applied a thin coat of Hunterline Light Gray A&I.



I then used a clean paper towel and wiped the A&I off along with some of the medium gray chalk.
