Rick

Good morning everyone.

Cayucos weather: Partly sunny, with a high near 57.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
All the best to your ad and hope the rescue goes well today.

Philip, glad you're feeling better.

Ron, better get those bins unpacked soon so you can focus on Drive to Survive.  ;)  ;D

Karl, hope the bones stop aching and have fun expanding the RR.

Jerry, great news about finishing the pilings.

TomO, I'm sure you'll find something to do and enjoy the pasta.

ACLTom, good luck bowling.

Larry, nice update on the shop yesterday.

Greg, have a sunny day.

Terry, haven't heard from you in a while.

Dave, Jim and everyone else looking in, hope you are all well.

Had a nice day yesterday at Morro Bay.
I saw otters, sea lions and a variety of birds.
I took pictures which I haven't worked on yet and a couple of videos.
Todays plan is to go back inland some and hit the gym.

A short video of the very noisy sea lions: https://youtube.com/shorts/Mg9T8FGH7Qk

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, muffins, bagels, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 68F and breezy. I believe it's supposed to rain most of the day. Yesterday we did the rescue. The male is lovey dovey but the female could be jaws! I attached the first sheet of NBW's and painted the second sheet.I hope to attach them later.

Dad has a medical appointment today and tomorrow that I will be the driver and attending.

Greg don't try to impose your outdated norms on those poor CA sea lions! ;D

Rick another great video.

Tom are we still on for SBG Saturday?

I hope everyone has a good day.

470 and rain in Michigan, warmest morning so far this year, but, it is raining and will continue to rain most if not all the day.  Blizzard like in the UP the the cold spreading down this way as well late in the day into tomorrow with snow by morning.

No big plans today, more layout construction in the works.

Everyone have a safe and pleasant day.

Morning Gents,

Curt thanks for the coffee and bagel this morning. Hope your Dad's apts. go well.
Enjoy your build.

Tom hope the Vet's goes well> it seems errands are never ending. Have fun in the Shed.

Karl we have rain as well with temps into the 50's later today. Melt some of the white crap.
Have fun at the layout.

What's everyone else up to.

It's 47 with a high of 56 in New York; nice to have it warmer even with the rain. Not sure what the day will bring so I'll just play it by ear.

Have a great day!! Be well and stay safe.

Rick

Good morning everyone.

Soledad weather: Rain, mainly before 4pm. Areas of fog before 11am. High near 56. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 13 to 18 mph in the morning.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Hope all goes well at Dad's appointments.

Karl, based on the weather and sounds like a good day to stay in and work on the layout.

Larry, with those temps the white stuff must be mostly gone.

ACLTom, hope all goes well at the vet.

Greg, I didn't think of that but it's possible.  ;D

How's everyone else doing today?

Seems like the whole country is experiencing some rain.
I was going to go to Pinnacles National Park but with the rain today and tomorrow that will have to wait.
The plan now is to head back to the coast near Big Sur.

Good morming Curt, ACLTom, Karl, Larry, Rick, Greg and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.  Do you keep the rescues or just foster them till they are found permanent homes?

ACLTom, hope the vet appointment goes well and it isn't too costly.

Karl, have fun with the layout construction.

Larry, enjoy your day.

Rick, all the bins are now unpacked so I'm ready for Drive to Survive which starts Friday.

Currently 70 and overcact here.  As Curt has mentioned, rain is in the forecast for today.  Not sure what tonight will bring.

Have a great day everyone.

The season should be starting up soon.

Morning crew! Thanks for the coffee Curt!

Windy rain and snow later. I'll be in the basement today gluing my fingers together.

Have a great day!

Ron normally rescues are re-homed. There's a core that are the "ambassador skunks" that are taken to events that are extra friendly. This is how the rescue makes money to support itself.

Not sure if the bitey skunk will be able to be re-homed or not. Unfortunately that shows she was poorly socialized by the original owner.

Evening everyone

A damp night here in South Jersey.
I got the fire going  just to get the chill out of here.

The bar is open so if your around stop by for a nightcap!
I'm going to have  a Old Fashion made with bourbon and the fruit muddled to take the chill off.

The pilings are done and glued to the joists next will be the decking.

Enjoy the evening.
