Mike, great idea using the chimney as a handle.
Lights will show off the interior nicely.

Looks great Mike!

My other friend Ronnie was a very involved Mason. He passed last Friday.

Philip, my condolences for your friend putting down his working tools.  Thanks for the obit link.  Indeed, he was very involved, to say the least.  ~mike

Howdy folks,

Today's work on the lodge included window fitting, making a bible for the altar, and installing ceiling beams and the front fascia.

Here is a view of the windows being fitted and the fascia in process.

I've referred to the light box for the front cornice logo, so here is a rear view of the box.  The box houses the LED and circuitry.  The ceiling beams were also finished today and are visible in the picture.

Tomorrow's plan is to finish the signs for the front and final sanding and painting of the fascia.

Have fun,
mike

Howdy folks,

Curt, Rick, Larry, and Philip, thanks for following along.

The work on the Masonic Lodge is complete, for now. I'll add a sidewalk, bench, etc., when I plant it on the layout. Here are a few final photos of the finished lodge.

Front view with lights on.

Roof with boards left from light box work, water spot, and chimneys.

Lodge sign (that is some small print).

Lodge with lights on and roof off.

Front of lodge in the dark with lights on.

I took these photos with my cell phone because it has more resolution than my Canon.  Sadly, I have not mastered perspective and a few other things.  More work to do for the hobby.

Have fun,
mike

P.S., next up will be work on the layout and an On30IMA gondola on flat.

Mike, congratulations on finishing yet another beautiful model.
It looks excellent inside and out.
