Yup! That about says it all Karl. Had the leg checked out; seems it's just a skin irritation so was prescribed some antibiotic cream which should work in a few days. Happy it wasn't something much worse.

I'm happy for you as well.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt,OJ, and soda.

I'm posting very early today since I stepped outside to discover a medium rain. Note that my phone weather app says it's dry. :(

The toliet was fixed yesterday after calling SIL (handyman) after another failed attempt by myself. He discovered a couple of spots of extra glazing in the actual tank opening. After gently removing them and putting things together we now have a non-leaking toliet. Who knows why it didn't leak before.

MOH takes off on her yearly jaunt with her SC BFF to Skunkfest in OH today. This year they are taking a third lady that lives in E. Orlando. They sell craft sewing and quilting items. I think she will be back next Wednesday.

Today is floor day for me and tomorrow Dad has a VA appointment in the morning then I will stop at Tom's house for a couple of minutes. I will be late checking in tomorrow.

Larry I'm glad the rash is minor.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all,

Curt, thanks for breakfast but I'll need to pass.

I have a blood draw at 6:40 this morning then then Pam and I will stop by IHOP for some pumpkin pancakes.

I'll be working on scenery this afternoon and will post an update later this afternoon.

Have a safe and healthy day everyone.

Good morning folks,

Curt, thank you for the coffee and breakfast.  Safe travels for your wife and friend.

TomACL, hope you enjoy IHOP after the vampire visit. Looking forward to your scenery post.

Larry, good to hear the rash is minor and will go away soon.  I suspect it is from a lack of time at the modeling bench.

How is the rest of the crew?

IT's another bright day forecast for 83F.  The moon last night, wow!

A couple of 1:1 tasks will occupy the morning, then back to the bench. More 3D printing is on tap, too.

Have fun,
mike
My current build is the Masonic Lodge and miscellaneous rolling stock .

Morning Gents,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Sounds like you're going to be a busy guy; don't overdue.

Tom enjoy breakfast after getting vampired and the scenery work.

Mike have fun at the 3D printer.

Thanks for the well wishes on my leg, so we'll see by weeks end. What's on your docket for the day.

It's another sunny 51 with a high of 78 in New York. Work continues on the back roof today so hopefully it'll be finished in a couple more days. Not much else going on here.

Have a great day!! Be well and stay safe.

Morning everyone

Curt thanks for the coffee & breakfast.
Sounds like you have your work cut out for yourself.

Tom enjoy the pancakes with Pam.

Mike sounds like a nice day for you.

Larry hope the leg problem is better this morning.

Weather in South Jersey rainy/62.  Later 68.
Izzy to the groomer this morning.
Not sure what the day will bring after that.

Everyone have a wonderful day!!  :)

Good morning from a slightly wet So. Central Wisconsin. 74 later today but 80's come back on Sunday and should stick for a few days. Strange...

A layout work session today about 45 minutes drive north of me, heading out in a few minutes

Enjoy your day

Good morning Curt, ACLTom, Mike, Larry, Jerry, TomO and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt, glad the toilet issue is fixed.

ACLTom, looking forward to seeing your scenery revitalization excellence.

Mike, just curious, what are you 3d printing now?

Larry, glad the leg rash is just a minor inconvenience.

Jerry, maybe you will make it to the bench or beach today.

TomO, have fun working on the layout.

It's currently 14c (57f) and sunny.  No modeling last night as there were other things to do.  Not sure what tonight will bring.

Have a great day everyone.

Mild, a bit more clouds, 50s to 70s today.

Little new, the dead and sick trees and several $$ are gone.  They worked quickly and professionally.  Some after care needed in front of the house where the huge blue spruce was.

Later all.

Morning all from Central Command. Got back home yesterday after a long stay at Northern Command. We had our roof redone on a eight year old double wide factory built home. Here are some pics.

I bet you can't guess who did the roof. This is thier portable saw.

Before the roof tair off.

IMG_0004.JPG

The spot that rotted through that gave us the clue we had a leak.

IMG_0005.JPG

The rafters were made from 1 3/4" by 1 1/4" wood.

More in the next post.

Continued.

All torn off.

IMG_0011.JPG

Note the thickness difference in the partical board that was on the roof and the new 5/8" thick sheets going back on.

IMG_0012.JPG

All done on the main building.

IMG_0015.JPG

Next will be the shed that had about 2" of thick moss on it.

IMG_0021.JPG

Once we close up in the next several weeks I can concentrate on modeling back home.

Plus, this past weekend was a train show at Clayton, New York

Spent some money on some Keystone kits and one Builders in Scale kit.

Got to go and mow the lawn now.

Stay safe and have a good day.

Good morning everyone.

Seattle weather: Partly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 74.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Good news about the toilet being fixed.

Bernd, Can't see your pictures yet so I'll wait till later to comment on the roof.

Karl, sorry about your trees.
The meme you posted is so true.

TomO, have fun at the layout work session.

Ron and Jerry, hope you can get some bench time today.

Larry, glad there wasn't anything seriously wrong with your leg.

Mike, hope the prints turn out well.

ACLTom, hope it's all good news from the blood draw and enjoy those pancakes.

Greg, hope you have another good productive day today.

Philip, 70 lbs of potatoes sounds like a lot to me.
How much do you usually get?

Costco this morning.
Then I think I'll finally get to Seattle and check out the big farmers market there.

Another photo from North Cascades NP.
