Good morning, everyone. Dan's, Dave's and my weather is 60-ish and mostly cloudy, though I've seen the sun peep through a few times. My high is forecast as 67, but I'm wearing a sweatshirt as I type; no windows were left open last night. My wife will bake later, which will warm the house up.

I've got annoying autopay bureaucracy to deal with, plus a trip to the Town Hall to sign something.  Then up to the attic to get the layout ready for Concord Flyer (NER convention) visitors tomorrow.

Howdy Ron,

I'm printing details for the Masonic lodge.  Here is a photo of them in brown primer:

Today I plan to print benches and desk chairs.

Have fun,

Good morning folks,

Coffee's on, and other beverages are in the fridge.  Breakfast is huevos rancheros with chorizo sausage on the side.

How is the crew today?

It's another bright day, warming to 86°F later.  I discovered that our sprinkler system disconnected from WiFi and isn't watering.  I tried to reconnect yesterday with no success.  I'll try again today.

Nothing to report from upstairs.

Have fun,
mike

Good Morning,

Mike thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Hope you get the wifi sorted out today.

What's your plans?

It's another sunny 50 with a high of 77 in New York. Hopefully today the Contractor will be finished up so I can write him a "fat" check and be done with it. Not much going on at the bench and starting tomorrow there are outside things calling my name.

Have an enjoyable day!! Be well.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and chow Mike. Good luck with the wifi.

Well, we should be on the road for Dad's VA appointment but they called this morning and rescheduled for tomorrow. This happens frequently in the foot clinic for whatever reason.

I raced through my chores today before the telephone call and need to go to ALDI once it opens for milk and apples.

Larry hopefully the contractor finishes today.

I hope everyone has a good day.

9-11 Memories and thoughts this morning.  Sad for the violence yesterday.

I'll be working on a vent system for air removal for my 3d printing enclosure, an old TV cabinet.

PT later.

John Deere shop called and the tractor is ready, $600+, will bring it tomorrow as I have a PT gig this afternoon.

Pray for our Nation.

Good morning from 60f degrees in Wisconsin. 80+ this afternoon and dry.

Terry suggested I could start bringing in the containers and pots of the annuals. Way too many for 1 day plus I need to rinse them after the flowers go into the compost bins. So I will start this morning and hopefully get 1/2 emptied and cleaned by 3pm when I plan to crash on the front porch. This adventure is 2-3 weeks earlier than normal but we must have had a frost last week. They all started looking terrible together then. Sad but they were all going to see the compost bins anyway eventually

Like most Americans I can tell you where and what I was doing when the planes hit. I got home in time to see the towers collapse. What a terrible day

Yesterday the layout work session went well. Next one is Monday! Too many week day OPS Sessions now and that has wrecked the Summer Wednesday/Thursday work session routine. Many of the guys I operate with will happily do 2-3 OPS Sessions a week. Not me, 2-3 per month is fine, a work session per week is great and my wife and I still like each other so there is no need to get away from her. One of my groups is only scheduling week day OPS and 1 guy is doing 3 hour evening sessions. Perfect for his small layout and 4 operators. I like an evening session. Generally past evening sessions have been 5 or 6pm starts till 9:30 or 10:30 with a 30 minute snack break.

Rick enjoy the Farmers Market. Have you done the Public Market yet? Everyone needs to see a dead fish thrown about 20' over a counter!

Enjoy the day

Another nice early fall day.  Later today I'll head to Concord for the NMRA NER convention.  I'll register, catch a couple of mini clinics, and see what's happenin'.  Tomorrow I'll be there all day, my first of 2 clinics starts at 0800 (so an early start for me tomorrow morning...)

Good morning everyone.

Olympia weather: Partly sunny, with a high near 73.

Mike, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Hope you get the WiFi issue sorted.

TomO, I visited the Pike Place Market yesterday.
Didn't see any fish being thrown.
They do that early in the AM when setting up and I didn't get there till almost 11.
I did see lots of fish.

ACLTom, sadly, I think many have already forgotten.

Karl, I agree that yesterday was a sad day.

Curt, have fun shopping.

Larry, hope the back porch work gets finished today.

James, what kind of baked goodies came out of the oven yesterday?

Bernd, new roof looks good and congratulations on the new kits.

Jerry, Philip, Ron and Greg, what's new?

As I already mentioned I visited the market in Seattle yesterday.
It was interesting and I took some pictures while walking around.
Also had a very good toasted everything bagel with butter and washed it down with good Seattle coffee.
Today I'll hit the gym then continue to the town of Forks.
If you're a fan of the Twilight books and movies, I'm not, forks is the town where that all takes place.
That town is just outside the Olympic NP.

Dave, good morning and have fun at the convention.
Take lots of pictures.
I'm surprised there weren't any pictures posted here from the Narrow Gauge Convention.

I remember 9-11. I was on duty in southern Orlando. After the second tower was hit we saw a convoy of 4 OPD cars screaming to the airport. My partner asked "What is going on?" and I replied we are at war now.

Last night I started getting sick again ...

I hope you feel better soon.  I had an overnight fever and chills last week, but that was it.  I feel lucky!

Good evening, all. The NH seacoast was up to almost 80F today, but our house (and the attic RR) didn't get too warm. Only 5 visitors, but two were old friends and a third is in the industry; we talked for quite a while about both preservation and track.  Rick, my wife ended up making brownies. She'd baked and made grape jam Wednesday so there were plenty of choices for breakfast and lunch.

This evening I fixed a turnout and ran a couple of trains so I'll be able to run things Sunday.  Meanwhile, in the morning I'll pack up a couple of contest entries and head to Concord. I can't actually place them in the room till after 6 PM so I guess it will be dinner out.  I know plenty of the attendees...
