Good Afternoon! We have a rabbit or something eating our tomato and pepper plants! Gena worked most of yesterday planting and some lil Sob has mangled 7 plants on Friday and several more today. It may be a Possum

Hope you get better Curt. I had that crap flu (A) last month. No fun.

This morning I'm blocking an entry point (gate) the rabbit has to be using.

Good morning (9:24) from Pasadena! The wedding yesterday and the reception dinner were super. If anyone had a bad time it was their own fault. Great party!

Today. Brunch for 45 and room for 60 at my sister's condo building party room from 10 till 2. Most of the groom's family are heading back to Wisconsin and the Chicago area this morning and early afternoon. The bride's family and NYC friends are heading back Monday or later. No time to relax yet as the party must go on. The honeymoon for the bride and groom is starting Tuesday.

Enjoy the day

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, assorted donuts, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Another poor night of sleep. I'm wondering if it's the 2 flu prescriptions I'm taking. I had no other issues last night. I think I coughed once. All I did yesterday was chores then took a nap after running out of energy.

Today will likely be more of the same. Something I realized yesterday was that although I feel bad the previous Covid symptoms were much worse. The rest of the family is going to see Lilo and Stitch today. I don't want to have to wear a mask in public for hours so I'm not going.

Got word yesterday that the impeller may be delayed until next week. The electrical issues in the kitchen have started again so a recommended electrician is coming tomorrow to figure out what's going on.

I hope everyone takes a minute to think of the men and women this holiday is for.

TomO that sounds like an heck of a party.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning,

Curt sorry to hear about your sleeping issues, or lack there of, hope you get it sorted out soon and meds do have a way of mucking things up. Hope you get your electrical issues resolved soon as well.

What's your plans for the holiday.

It's 50 with a high of 69 and hopefully some sun in New York. Going to wait for the grass to dry out then mowing is desperately needed as well as trimming. Bought a new electric hedge trimmer last week so anxious to try that out; it's still in the box. Helped our Daughter hang about 6 framed pictures yesterday at her apartment; she's getting it nice and homey looking. Since she lives in a part of the County I'm not familiar with I fired up the Garmin and found it with ease. Did manage a little bench time yesterday am when the power was out. Maybe I can finish the 2 pine trees I started.

Have a great holiday!! Be well and drive safe.

Good morning everyone,
Curt, coffee and a donut is perfect, thanks.
Weather this AM in northern Colorado is the same as yeaterday...Rain, drizzle and cool temps. Low and high temperatures are very close, in the 50s maybe low 60s if we catch a spot of sun. 51 now.
I plan on a few hours of bench time today depending on the wifes honey-dew list.

Memorial day folks, lets not forget those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our way of life. My wife was widowed from her first husband and was pregnant with her son who is now 39,  I bet some here remember when we lost 241 Marines in Beruit on Oct.24th 1983 from a sucker punch truck bombing, 1 of those brave men was my wifes husband.  So this is a somber day around here. Enough of that subject.

Hope everyone has a banner day

Positive times ahead

Rick

Good morning everyone.

Bend weather: Mostly sunny, with a high near 66.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Hope you get much better sleep tonight and hope that electrical issue isn't a big one.

Larry, have fun with the new trimmer.

TomO, glad you're having a great time.

Philip, hope you get that wascally wabbit under control.  ;D

Jerry, what's new in Joisey?

Ron, any thoughts on the race?

James, thanks for liking the photo and hope your father improves.

ACLTom, nice to see you back at the bench.

Karl, I remember back in the day the Indy was shown on TV on tape delay and stayed away from the radio to not be a spoiler.

Dale, good to hear from you.

Mike, any more roof progress?

Star and I hiked just under 9 miles yesterday at the Oregon Badlands.
Trail was OK but there aren't many great views.
Found a decent spot to stay for the night and sat outside for a while and enjoyed the view.
I spoke to Karl O yesterday and sadly he's not doing well.
If you can, send some positive thoughts and energy his way.

A short video of my view at camp yesterday: https://youtube.com/shorts/aQ0QkIXcztQ

And a photo of Star on yesterday's hike.

8) Sunshine is on my shoulder, the winds is nearly calm and I've a racing hangover.

We're going to be visited by the Geek Squad today, it's been awhile,  ???  The Doll's grand daughter was here and helped, did 90% of the work, with planting in excess of 50 plants.  I managed to do some mowing between the events.

The grass was so long, I might be 'forced' to get the sweeper out, extra work but much of the yard needs it.

Little else here.  I hope all are doing well.

Morning,
Roger that Dale.

Well turns out a bird is stealing the garden saplings. Caught her red handed taking the goods to her nest. Lol.

Good morning Curt, Larry, Dale, Rick, Karl, Jerry, Philip and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt, glad to here you are feeling better, sounds like your on the way out of the crud.

Larry, enjoy the new hedge trimmers.

Dale, enjoy your day.

Rick, great picture of Star.  As for the race, even with the mandatory 2 stopper, it was boring and predictable, easily the most boring race of the year.  Real sorry to hear about Karl O.

Karl, sounds like a very productive day in the yard yesterday.

Jerry, Have fun at the beach.

Philip, glad you caught the thief red handed. ;D

Spent some time at the bench yesterday, finished the lighting and added the interior signs in the upper window.  I also started the ground floor interior walls and floor.  I also managed to post an update in my Henderson Thread.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all,

Late this morning, been helping Pam with stuff in the house.

Thanks for breakfast and hope you feel better Curt.

Rick, nice video - seems very peaceful and serene.

I still haven't figured my photo program out. I'll probably just uninstall and reinstall the program and see what happens.

I have Magnuson windows to paint.

Have a safe and healthy day everyone.

Good afternoon folks,

Curt, thanks for opening.  Wow, when it rains, it pours.  Hope you feel better and have good luck with the electrical issues.

Larry, it is nice to be near your daughter to help with those little things.  Good luck with the trees.

Dale, thanks for sharing your wife's loss.  War touches everyone, it seems.  Nobody loves peace like a service person.

Rick, Star is looking happy.  Thanks for the photo.  It looks like you are in a desert region of Oregon.

Karl, congrats on the mowing success.  Sounds like you needed a hay baler.

Jerry, hope the beach day went well.

Philip, dirty birds!  Good luck with the garden.

Ron, Henderson is looking fantastic.  Thanks for the lighthouse photo.

TomACL, those Magnuson structures have a lot of windows.  Good luck.

TomO, congrats on the good wedding events.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a rainy day with a forecast of 79°F and thunderstorms.  I started the day at the physical therapist working on a bad hip muscle that was injured in a 2003 car accident.  This afternoon we are meeting our Daughter and SIL to see the new Mission Impossible.  No time at the bench today.

Have fun,
mike

8) Sun early is to morph into clouds and a slight chance of rain.  More rain tomorrow.

Don't forget, it's Tuesday already.  The last "extra" day weekend behind us until July.

Be well all.

Morning Karl and others,

This morning's breakfast is served. Grab a bagel of your choice, heat it and spread on some cream cheese. All sorts of drinks, hot and cold on the other table.

Remember Karl, for us every day is Saturday except Sunday. I have a five "extra" days a week now.

I fixed the photo program by uninstalling it and then reinstalling a new version. Now I can resume my threads with normal size photos.

I have all day to sit at the work bench. Yea.

Have a great day ya'll.
