TomO/Tloc

Good morning to the Crew. No grass cutting for the grandson today. It's been 2 weeks since he last cut it due to the constant rains we've had. We got another 5" yesterday and walking on it this morning, it's like a sponge.

Karl, I hope the trip up nort was uneventful.

Friday here will be bringing more uncertainty to the train room. Lots of thoughts on expanding the layout or taking it down to start over. Terry did tell me yesterday I can have the rest of the lower level to expand after the daughter's family move out. Another 1000 sq. feet to build in and way more than I'd need or want. But, I just know in my gut we are going to move...

Enjoy the day

Good morning Larry, ACLTom, Karl, Mike, Rick, Philip, Dave, Dale, Mike, Jerry, TomO and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Larry.

Going to keep this short as I have a busy day today and then a 4 day long weekend.  ;D

Rick, to answer your question I plan to work on both the N scale modules and my On30 layout.  I plan to work on the N scale modules separately as I can then work on them at the bench.

Currently 68F and cloudy with rain in the forecast late this afternoon.  No bench time last night as I spent it with the Mrs.  Tonight will be watching the first round of the NHL draft.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning everyone.

It's 2:35 here and I'm at the trailhead.
Couldn't sleep so instead of tossing and turning in bed I packed up and drove here.
Maybe I can grab a quick nap before I start my hike.

Shocked there's cell service here.

I'll check back in later.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all,

Got you covered Rick. Breakfast this morning is cheesy scrambled eggs with hash browns. Sausage links are also on the table. Coffee, tea, OJ and of course sodas on the end.

I didn't sleep sleep well either. Old age and all that goes with it.

The Judge is coming over this morning to run trains and we will talking about what brass locos we want to paint. I'll be the one doing the painting.  8)

Have a safe and healthy day everyone.

Get some sleep as well.  ;D ;D

Good morning folks,

Good early morning Rick.  Hope you scored a nap before the hike.

TomACL, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.  Wishing you a fantastic time with the judge.

Jerry, sorry I missed the evening toast.

Looks like everyone had a good Friday.

It's sunny this morning, but storms later today.  It's cooler today at 89F.  Don't have specific plans for the day, but may go upstairs.

Have fun,
mike

My current build is the Water Tower and miscellaneous rolling stock .

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening Rick. Enjoy your hike and nap.

Tom thanks for breakfast. Have fun with the judge. I would of showed up but there's a guy coming by the house this morning to pick up a large stack of planter pads(concrete) that have been against the house for years.

MOH'S BFF showed up around 1900 last night and they're going to SeaWorld today on free veterans tickets. I passed on the fun?

Other than chores not much else going on for me today.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Walked around the block twice today as the temp is lower. Needed that, in fact I need to start walking daily.

This last mon-friday week was appointment city. Glad it's done!

You all have a great Saturday. I'm modeling later.

Morning Gents,

Rick I was rolling over in bed for the 3rd time when you got up; sorry sleep eluded you.
Grab a nap before hiking so you're alert and clear headed.

Tom thanks for the coffee and breakfast....yum! Looks like the "not-so good-sleeping" is going around.
Have fun running trains with the Judge and maybe solve some of the world's woes while you're at it.

Mike have a great day no matter what you do with it.

Curt glad you're able to get rid of the pads.

Philip it seems appointments come in bunches; nice yours are finished and have fun modeling.

What's happening in your world.

It's a sunny 68 on the back porch with a high of 83 in New York. They're calling for scattered thunder storms later again; not sure how right they are or just like scarring the crap our of people. Worked on the tree again yesterday and finished getting the leafy branches removed; now have 3 large stacks piled up in the back yard. Also started cutting up some of the limbs starting on one side and will work my way across the tree so it doesn't roll towards me while I'm cutting; safety first. Maybe some time at the bench later.

Have an enjoyable day!!!! Be well and stay safe.
