Well, I'm the odd man out.  I slept pretty well last night (which is unusual).  The cool weather helps a lot.  I still wish i could sleep past 7:00 like I used to...  There was a late Scotch Club last night taking advantage of the great weather yesterday.  The theme of the night was actually Bourbon, though.  I tried a Bourbon and a Scotch, I didn't stay very long.  It was a full house, all the seats were full and I actually gave up my seat to a late arrival.

Rain this morning, not clear if it'll stop for the scheduled Scotch Club today.  Still cool, but warming up as the week goes on.  Not as hot as the start of last week, thankfully.

I'm getting close to the design and parts list for the machine shop line shafts.  Mostly I have to work out the shifters, and how I'll install them.

Nice and 620 here by the swamp. Bright cloudless skies are a change from yesterday when it rains. Weather stats said 1.5 inches in the last 36 hours. Things here are green. Seasonal pests have made their appearances already.

No plans yet, I'll tag along when/if.

Be well all. Safe, dry and well shaded.

Good morning Rick, ACLTom, Mike, Curt, Philip, Larry, Dave, Karl, Jerry and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Tom, enjoy running trains with the Judge.

Rick, enjoy your hike.

Karl, glad you made it to Northern Command safely and that you are settled in.

It is currently 9C (66F) and rainy here, a good day to spend some time at the bench.  It is also the first of 4 days off.  ;D  Plan today is to relocate my printers out of the model room and set them up elsewhere in the basement (I already have a spot figured out, just need to clean it off  :o  )  Maybe some actual bench time later on.

Have a great day everyone.

Good evening everyone.

I did get a short 1/2 hour nap before getting up and hiking again.
I felt great and did the 6.5 miles with no problem.
Gorgeous trail and took many pictures.
I'll have to work on them today and tomorrow.
Found an outstanding campsite again.
Took another nap when I got here.

Might as well set up the bar while I'm here.
Fridge is stocked with a wide variety of beers and sodas.
Bottle of red and white are on the counter along with a bottle of Old Forrester 1920.
Maybe TomO will stop in nd make popcorn.

Enjoy your evening and I'll see you in the AM.

Larry C

Hey Rick I'll grab a Pepsi Zero and join you. Glad the hike went well

TomO/Tloc

The popcorn is hot. I'll have a Diet Pepsi as I just don't feel the need for anything else tonight.

Rick, as to me and the Stouts. I have 4 real ones behind the bar for at least a couple months. I should try 1 at least.

TomO

Rick

Good morning everyone.

Grand Teton weather: Sunny, with a high near 83.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
A rare splurge for breakfast today.
A big box of Cinnabon's till warm from the oven are on the counter.

TomO, careful trying those stouts.
You may like them.  ;D

Larry, naps are great.

Ron, does moving the printers allow for RR expansion?

Jerry, did you get that bench time?

Karl, glad you arrived safely.

Dave, which bourbon and what did you think of it?

Philip, walking is very good for you.

Curt, I'd pass on SeaWorld too.

Mike, hope you made it upstairs.

ACLTom, when will the brass be painted?

Slept well last night.
Nothing planned for today other than work on pictures and videos.
Sat outside yesterday to smoke a cigar with my afternoon cigar.
Bugs were crazy even while coated with Off.

I have a fantastic view of the Teton's from my campsite.

Morning Rick and others,

Thanks for breakfast Rick. Glad you got the nap and hike in. Nice video of Taggart Lake. Maybe it should be called Mirror Lake.

I'll paint and install TCS WOW sound in the locos. May take me some time but I'll get it done.

I was going to post the FOS garage update yesterday afternoon and it was the time many people called about Pam's mom. I took most of the calls to give Pam a break from going over it again and again.

I'll post the update later this afternoon. I have about 20 new photos to post.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy Sunday.

Good Morning,

Rick thanks for the coffee and the Cinnabon; Yum! Probably hit the sugar limit for the week.
Gorgeous photo and nice you have a chance to relax.

Tom it's great you ran interference for Pam; going over the same stuff repeatedly gets
real old real fast. Looking forward to your update.

What's the rest of you doing.

It's a sunny 66 with a high of 78 in New York. Later this am I guess I'll whack away at that tree some more.
Problem is I can't work like I did 20 years ago although I am grateful I can still do stuff; just takes longer. Maybe some bench time first so I don't annoy the neighbors with the chainsaw too early.

Have a great day!! Be well and stay safe.

PRR Modeler

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. That is beautiful scenery that you and Star are in.

I've been working on chores this morning and putting the house back to normal after MOH's friend left for SC. She did take one of the rescues we've been fostering.

We have one rescue that I'm keeping as a pet. She's a 5 y/o brown and white, smallish in size and a love bug. When I watch TV at night she lays on me sleeping. She likes people better than skunks!

Tomorrow MOH and I are driving east of Gainesville (about 2 hours) to drop off the last baby skunk.

We gave away about 150 pavers to a horse rescue. There's about a dozen broken pieces left that son and I will deal with this coming week along with the last weed pull. Joy.

Tom it sounds like you're having more fun than I am.

Larry take your time, it's not going anywhere.

Jerry no joy on the kit arrival. :-\

Morning everyone

Rick thanks for a great breakfast and coffee.
Beautiful video.

Tom glad you took over for Pam it can get boring repeating the same thing over and over.
Looking forward to the update.

Larry nice of you to think of the neighbors.

Curt how many pets do you have now??

Weather in South Jersey sunny/83.  90 later on!!
I don't think we will go to the beach today way to many tourists will be there.
I painted a few details yesterday more of them today.

Everyone have a great day  :)

Good morning Rick, ACLTom, Larry, Curt, Jerry and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick, looks like you found a great camping spot.  The moving of the printers will free up modeling space.

ACLTom, looking forward to the garage update.

Larry, good luck with the tree removal.

Curt,  Safe travels tomorrow.

Jerry,  Is the detail painting for the dock scene?

Currently 21C (70F) and partly cloudy here, I like these temperatures more than what I was seeing when I was in Florida.

The printers didn't get moved yesterday as after I finished running some chores My brother called asking if I could help with installing the last of the siding on my mothers house.  I brought my oldest grandson with me and we managed to finish up the siding and make the frames, cut the lattice to close off the crawl space underneath the sun room.  Hope fully I'll get the printers moved today.

Have a great day everyone.
