Good morning Curt, Larry, Rick, Karl, ACLTom, TomO and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt.

Another busy day for me today.  It is currently 7c (44f) and overcast.  When I got home from work last night the3 Mrs decided that we needed to go out for dinner so we did.  We went to a pub that we used to enjoy but it changed ownership recently.  I don't think we will be going back and will be on the hunt for a new pub.  I did manage to add the second coat of joint compound on the backdrop seams with the goal to paint the sky on the backdrop this weekend.

Have a great day everyone.

Late again, Gena went bye bye with friends today. I taxied her to the rally point and dropped her off. She was worried about someone stealing that bling car wheels. I told her to take my 96 Jeep and she gave me that look.....  It's good to be on the throne for a minute. ;)

Casting and printing today.

Later!

The ones working for 'Swift Trucking' would love to crash it! ;D

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, French toast, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 60F and low humidity. I was almost cold when I stepped outside. Yesterday I spent several hours working on the repair shed and I should finish it today. Last night daughter and SIL met us for supper.

Today after chores I'll head to the workbench. Tomorrow will be a really late day for us at a afternoon/night skunk event.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. 60 out? I'd still be in my t-shirt. Lol. Have fun at the bench.

What's your plans for the day.

It's still raining @ 42 with a high of only 51 in New York. Nov.1 & 2 is the Train Show at the Fairgrounds. Debating whether to go or not. Went the last 2 years but everything was pretty much the same; may skip this year. Errands to run shortly then maybe some time at the bench.

Have a great day!! Be well.

Good morning, Larry and later arrivals. It's lunchtime in Portugal and we just saw our first glimpse of the sun today. Our host asked us to pick fruit he won't be able to, so I'm experimenting with what the 'net thinks is a quince.  Pretty tough going...

Yesterday in Santarem I saw a moderately busy (for Europe) double track main line: electrified, trains every 10-15 minutes in both directions. This is the main stem from Lisbon to the north and also to Spain. One container freight with two electric locos, one loco-hauled passenger train and two kinds of electric MUs. The line along the Tagus River passes right under a park (former fort/toll gate) overlooking the river. It's called Porto do Sol.

Good morning everyone.

Reno weather: 42 now and cloudy with a high of 69 later.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Keep having fun with the kit.

Larry, hope those errands don't keep you away from the bench too long.

James, glad you're enjoying your trip and doing some rail fanning too.

Philip, how's the casting and printing going?

Jerry, hope there's more going on today.

Ron, that's too bad the pub has changed for the worse.

TomO, that was really classy and adult behavior what the football team did.

ACLTom, congratulations on the bowling and scenery work.

Karl, hope the cat is doing better and the vet visits can stop.
Keep plugging away on the printing.

Hope the rest of the crew is doing well.

Made to Reno but didn't make it to the gym.
That will happen first today then Costco and Walmart.
After that's done I was going to go to Bishop, CA., but after reading some of the trail reviews I've changed my mind.
Seems that there's already ice and s$#@ on the trail making them difficult to keep upright.
So instead I'll go to Yosemite NP which is closer anyway.

Sunset at camp at Sierra Buttes, CA.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt. Have fun at the skunk event.

Not much gong on here today, just going to take it easy. I need to finish cleaning up the scenery cart and get the train shed walkable.

Pam and I have lots of errands to run and then we'll get a burger at the local burger joint.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Morning Curt & crew!

Happy birthday Tom! Hamburgers are great!

Coffeed up and ready. Fired the heater last night. Woke up to a 34 this am.

Karl, I ran into some friends yesterday and their labradoodle went blind at 8 years old. They spent $1500 trying to save the pups sight but reality set in. The pup still gets around, just blind. I think the dollar amount doesn't matter for pets. Unlike the old days when our folks would shoot them...

I may venture out today. Needing some more peg hooks and disposable gloves.

Rick I haven't cast much. The printer has been busy. I loaned Mike an STL file for one of his many projects. Nice pic today!

Have a great day!

Jerry
