Good morning Curt, Larry, James, Rick, Karl, ACLTom, Mike, Philip, Jerry and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Yipes, I'm really checking in late this morning.  Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt, sounds like you are making great progress on the kit.

Larry, I know what you mean about train shows, I haven't had the desire to go to any lately but that may be because I don't really need anything.  Hope you make it to the bench.

James, sounds like you are having a great time in Portugal.

Rick,  Sounds like you need to go further south.

Karl, hope the 1:1 stuff doesn't make you miss time in the train room.

ACLTom, Happy birthday to you and Pam and enjoy the burgers tonight.

Mile, Mike enjoy your day.

Philip, Hope your venture out is fruitful.

Jerry, Hope the parts from Brett arrives soon.

Currently 8c (46f) and overcast with a 20% chance of rain.  Got home late from work yesterday so no modeling was had as I was too tired to do anything.  We shall see what tonight brings.

Have a great day everyone.

Happy Day to Tom & Pam!  I'm traveling, so not much time to check the forums.  But we did get to our favorite gelato place today, so That's A Good Thing.

And if you think pet medical costs are bad, I won't mention vet dental costs...

Morning all,

Thanks everyone who extended best wishes for our birthdays yesterday. Pam and I had a full day of calls, cards, visitors and cake. The burgers were perfect, just the way we like them.

Food for breakfast this morning is Country Fried Steak with Biscuits with Gravy. Fresh fruit bowls are here for those cutting back. Drinks and fresh squeezed Fla. OJ on the end.

The Judge is coming over to run trains and do a little BS which seems to occur every time we get together.

Have a great day everyone and stay safe.

Tom

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Tom. I'm glad you and Pam had a great day yesterday.

Today MOH and I take off to Brooksville (about 90 min away) for Ghostfest and a very long Skunk Rescue event. I don't expect to be home before 0030 tomorrow. :-*

Not much else happening this weekend.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning,

Tom thanks for the coffee and breakfast; that was a "gut buster" of a breakfast. Have fun with the Judge and of course all the BS'ing that goes along with it. Glad the Birthdays went well. The first photo made me laugh.

Curt safe travels and enjoy the event.

What's going on today.

It's 40 on the back porch with a high of 50 with a little lingering rain still. Work continues on painting details but not sure if the bench will happen today. Our Daughters coming over for a visit this afternoon which will be nice.

Have a great day!! Be well.

Good morning Crew from a cool and dark Saturday morning in Wisconsin. 33f degrees now 53 later. Are we predicted to get rain? Well yes and no. A portion of the WeatherChannel app says no rain expected. Scrolling across the page is a notice rain is expected at 7:15. Since that is a few minutes from now I will find out soon.

The layout pictures and Rick pictures of his travels have really been outstanding this past week and basically since we moved here!

We will be on campus for a Badger Women hockey game at 2pm. They are ranked #1 and are the defending NCAA champions. Even though they won convincingly last weekend they will play for awhile without 2 of the stars. They were the #1 and #3 goal scorers in the nation last year and will be on the Olympic squad again in February. Both are now hurt. Hockey is a great sport but it's a tough one to play

Other than that my day is free especially if it rains as the outdoor furniture should now be put away. I see no 60+ temperatures in the 30 day forecast but lots of overnights in the 20's.

I found Ai! It's a deep hole but it's also been fun as I create the backstory for my layout's history and as I help work on designing a 2' x 12' paper mill for a layout work session member as he will be taking down his layout and moves into a retirement community condo by the New Year.

Be well

Rick

Good morning everyone.

Yosemite NP weather: 32 now and will only climb to 42 later.
There's a wind advisory out for today and tomorrow.

ACLTom, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Glad Pam and you had a wonderful birthday.

Curt, safe travels today and enjoy the events.

Larry, have a great day with your daughter.

TomO, thanks for the nice words about my photos and enjoy the hockey game.

Dave, I passed on Stars dental costs and she's doing fine.

Ron, I'm going to tough it out here in the mountains for a few more days and will then head to warmer climes.

Jerry, hope you get your new parts soon.

Philip, your latest creations look good.

Mike, any modeling yesterday?

Karl, I will definitely keep an eye out for Sam.  ;D

How's everyone else doing?

Had a beautiful drive to get up here to the park.
Seeing the Sierra's all covered in s%$# and all the trees in their most colorful foliage was amazing.
I'm currently at 9,600' in elevation and that explains why the temps are what they are.
It's another 1 1/2 hour drive to get to one of the trails I want to hike.
I'll stop along the way and take pictures but spend most of the day in the van.

This is my view from my current campsite.

Morning everyone

Tom thanks for the coffee & breakfast.
Glad the birthdays went well.
Don't do to much Bsing today!!  ;D

Curt be safe driving.

Larry have a nice day with your daughter.  The details can wait one day.

TomO have fun at the game.

Rick nice picture.  I can't believe they already have sn*w on the caps.

Weather in South Jersey is sunny/52.  Later on 60.
We still need to wrap the outdoor furniture so that might get done today.
Then some time at the bench at least that's the plan.

Everyone have a wonderful day!!  :)

Forgot to post this.
My youngest granddaughter, Shelly, turned 6 yesterday.

Rick, she's a beauty!  Trillion Dollar Smile!

Greetings from ops at Andy's. Light crew, running trains!  No rest for the crew present. Serviced the coal powered power plant, ran a road train then a turn to service the flour mill in Adam. Yard sent some extra cars I handled unlike a genuine Union railroader. "Them ain't my job, take them back to the yard"

Hard frost and 20s this morning when I headed out, low haze and bright sun was beautiful.

Enjoy all

Good morning everyone.

Yosemite weather: 39 now and a high of only 49 and cloudy.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Pork roll, egg and cheese on a toasted and buttered everything bagel for breakfast today.

Thank you all for Shelly's birthday wishes and nice comments.
Can't wait to see the kids in person again.

Dave, glad you're enjoying the pictures.

Karl, with an attitude like this: "Them ain't my job, take them back to the yard" , you could have easily been a rail employee.  ;D

Jerry, patio furniture wrapped?

What's everyone doing today?

I'm parked at Glacier Point and that's where the trip starts on the hike I'm doing today.
Star will have sit this one out.  :-\

Here's a phone picture I took yesterday of Half Dome.
