Morning Gents,

Rick thanks for the coffee and breakfast this morning. Your Grand Daughter is cute and looks like she likes being photographed. Nice photo but the sky looks rather ominous. Have a safe hike.

What's the plan for today.

It's 34 with a high of 50 in New York. Had a nice visit with our Daughter. No bench time yesterday but hopefully this am. Need to throw together a shopping list; tomorrow is grocery day. Not much else going on here.

Have a great day!!! Be well and stay safe.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Rick. Your Granddaughter is very cute. I see some of you in her eyes.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY READING BOB. He checks the daily message but I guess not ready for the Geezer's Lounge.  ;D

I'll do some work on the layout and get some videos together on structures. Video won't be out for at least a month.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Tom

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. Shelly is a cutie.

We got home about 1am today. Of course on the way way home the direct route (rural) was completely shut down in the sticks by a construction crew. We were in a long line of traffic (2 lane road) for about 20 minutes before a cop walked down the line to redirect us. :-X The event was successful with the rescue earning around $900.

Today is the regular Sunday chores plus cleaning up what needs cleaned from the rescue equipment.

Bob Happy Birthday.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning Rick, Larry, ACLTom and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick, Curt, enjoy your hike today.

Larry, enjoy your time at the bench.

Tom, have fun working on the layout.

Curt, Glad the skunk event was successful.

It's currently 5c (41f) and cloudy.  Well yesterday kind of ran away from me.  Started of taking Gracie to the vet for her allergy shot, then went to my Mom to wash her carpets, then a run to Home Depot for painting supplies and then to the hobby shop for some supplies. When I got home I cut the grass (hopefully for the last time this year) and did some yard cleanup.  Needless to say I didn't make it to the bench yesterday.

I have a couple of hours of work to do today and then I need to make a grocery run.  After that the day should be mine.

Have a great day everyone.

Icy weather yet again in mid Michigan with hard frost.  8) Sunny, tho, it looks better than it feels.

My Spartans fell flat again, the media folks have a big vat of grease ready to slather up the skids for the coach(s). A little bit too plain vanilla for them  ;) all the money floating around college sports is killing it, too.

We've a couple guys at OPS that do take on the attitude like I said. Sort :P  of irritating to me. One area, nationally renowned retired RR engineer, no longer with us, had a mean nastiness to his ops sessions with guys just lining up to subject them selves to his sessions. I walked out the last time he laid on a GDWTF >:( on me..."oh that's just "xxxx" I was told. Ironically I probably learned more about ops from him. But I don't go anywhere to be verbally abused and walk on eggshells all day.

1:1 seems to be looming today.

Be well

Hike safe, Rick.

We've all done this at one time or another; have photos over multiple devices then trying to sort them all out. Very time consuming.

What's on you plate today.

It's a chilly, clear 28 with a high of 52 in New York. Grocery shopping on tap for most of the morning and after that who knows. Possible Honey-do list in the works. That's about it from here.

Have a great day!! Keep warm and be well.

Good Morning All,

Breakfast today is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with walk at 70F and air that was damp and humid from the overnight thunderstorm and downpour.

Yesterday after chores I just vegged since I was still tired from Saturday. I really wanted to take a nap, but if I did I knew sleep last night would be miserable.

Today after chores and an errand I'll continue working on the Tempering Shed.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning everyone.

Yosemite weather: It will be sunny and a high of 60.

Larry, thanks for the breakfast and Curt for the coffee.

Larry, hope the honey do list isn't too long.

Curt, hope you make good progress on the kit.

What's everyone up to today.

I have all my photos on a 4 TB SSD.
They're backed up on a 10 TB SSD.

Did a great 10 mile hike yesterday.
Beautiful views the whole way.
The only thing that could have been better was to have a little less clouds and little more sun.
It finally did clear up right before sunset and got some good pictures then.

Here's a short video from Glacier Point: https://youtube.com/shorts/MkHMnR-N36Q

And a pano I took with my phone.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt. Glad you got some rest.

Rick, great photo of Glacier Point.

Pam and I are driving to SC to visit two of my three sisters. I'm not looking forward to the I-95 drive. We will leave Wednesday morning and return Sat. night. Lots of errands to run today.

That's it for me.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Good morning folks,

Larry, thank you for opening, coffee and breakfast.  Good luck with the 1:1 list.

Curt, thanks for brunch.  The tempering shed sounds like a fun build.

Rick, a 10 miler!  It's beautiful country there. Thanks for the photo.

TomACL, good luck with the errands.

How goes the rest of the crew?

It's finally raining, and it looks like it will continue all day.  It's 50°F headed to 55°F.  I need to run a couple of errands, but I plan to spend most of the day upstairs.

Have fun,
mike
