Good Morning,

I see some others here but I get things started. The morning beverages are ready. Breakfast is blueberry pancakes with butter, syrup, along with crispy bacon and/or pan sausages; enjoy.

What's your plans for the day.

It's a sunny 60 with a high of 72 in New York. After a couple of errands it looks like a good day to start painting the back porch. I do have to drop off the Escape to my Mechanic for an oil-lube-filter event as well as the dreaded NYS Inspection; probably going to need some brake work done to pass inspection $$$$$$.

Have a great day!!! Be well.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Larry. Painting the porch doesn't sound fun. Good luck with the inspection.

I'm starting the day with my laundry and chores. Hopefully SIL shows today and we can get the pool operating again.

Yesterday I attached the cable between the hoist house and headframe shuttle. As Tom would say it was very tricksie. I ended up having to super glue the h.h. wire drum spool to keep the slack out. I also colored and glued the boards to the frame of the side roof.

I'm on my last page of instructions for the kit. :'(  I have really enjoyed building this kit.

Dave that is a lot of alcohol. How big is your group?

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning folks,

Larry, thanks for opening, coffee, and pancakes. Good luck with the car inspection.

Dave, interesting collection of scotch.

Ron, I missed the Glenlivet last night, so I'll have it for breakfast.  Thanks!

How is the rest of the crew?

I am feeling better this morning.  Getting old has its surprises.

This morning is PT, an errand to Tractor Supply, then who knows.

Have fun,
mike
My current builds are on the Buffalo Canyon Mining Company's wooden Howe Truss Bridge, and miscellaneous rolling stock .

Rick

Good morning everyone.

Mike, happy you're feeling better.

Curt, hope you get the pool fixed today.

Dave, if those are just your Ardbeg's, how many other bottle do you have?

Ron, sorry I missed out on yesterday's libations.
Max really lost his cool yesterday.

ACLTom, waiting to see what the next project will be.

TomO, how'd yesterday's exploring go?

Karl, any better luck with the trap last night?
Nice pics of your backyard menagerie.

Dale, yard work all done?

Philip, still pooped?

Greg, have a great work week.

Jerry, what's new?

Star and I did a little walking in the morning.
In the afternoon I got to enjoy a cigar with my afternoon coffee.
Got too windy to light the campfire.
Today I'll head further east and get closer to my next planned hike.

From a hike I did along the Deschutes River.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Larry. I stay signed in so even though it looks like I'm here, it is in name only.  8) Good luck with the porch painting.

Rick, I'll post the next project this afternoon or tomorrow.

I had a Dr. appointment at 7AM. Two biopsies, one on each leg for skin cancer. This is a quarterly process for me and no big deal. One will need to be cut out and stitched and the other one treated topically. I've been through this enough to know the drill.

Anyway, I'm in the train shed until the stinging starts and then I'll rest and prop up the legs. It sure is a joy to grow old but, it beats the alternative.

Have a safe and healthy day everyone.

Good day everyone,  blueberry pancakes sound wonderful.
I am in Cheyenne today amd the weather so far is perfect. Sunny skies and  59 now. High around 80. But the weather is going to be changing this afternoon. Strong thunderstorms and cooler temps starting later today and for the next several days.

Wife and I got the yard somewhat presentable over the weekend. Still some more to do, but with the rainy forcast this week by next weekend it will be starting over again. I did manage to get a big pile of wood burned that has been an eyesore now for a year. I never xould burn it last season because it was so dry.

I'll get some bench time later this afternoon.IMG_4241.jpeg

Sun ans smoke today in MI.

Success in the night with the trap, now next I need to act on that.

The Doll is shocked and grieving this morning, the bright light of our neighborhood that walked past twice daily, rain shine heat or cold, and often stopped and talked to her for hours hadn't been seen a bit and she reached out to his son and found out he had left us on the 23rd due to sudden abdominal issues.  :'(  Great guy.

Well got to move along.  Be well all.

Good afternoon Larry, Curt, Mike, Rick, ACLTom, Dale, Jerry, Karl and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee Larry, It's a bit late for breakfast so I'll pass on that.  Have fun painting the porch.  Painting is one of my least favorite thing and I try to avoid it at all costs.

Curt, glad you enjoyed building Brett's kit, all the ones I have built to date have been pure joy.

Mike, Hope you feel better soon.

Rick, I don't know what Max was thinking, first time I saw that in F1, surprised he only got a 10 second penalty for that.

Tom, hope you get a decent amount of time in the train shed before you have to put your feet up.

Dale, now that's a bonfire.

Jerry, if Izzy like ice cream like Gracie does, she is going to be one happy puppy.

Karl, so sorry to hear about your neighbour.

Managed a little time at the bench last night.  Built a magazine rack for the drugstore but that still left a huge open ares in the middle of the store so I built a counter to take care of that.  Tonight I hope to paint it and install it.  That should do it for the drug store interior.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning everyone.

Prairie City, OR weather: Sunny, with a high near 73.

I see Mike's here as well and I'm sure he's making coffee and breakfast.

Keeping it short today because I'm doing a long hike today and want to get an early start.

Hope everyone is well and have a great day.

ACL1504

Morning all,

Enjoy the hike Rick. Full details tomorrow.

Ron, I PM'd you my address.

No breakfast from me as I'm going back to bed. My legs are still stinging from the biopsy. I'll be fine later this afternoon. At least that has been the history of this crap. Oh, the joy of being a Florida Cracker.

Have a safe and healthy day everyone.
